Linkin Park Win an American Music Award; Linkin Park Kicked out of American Music Awards
Linkin Park made history last night when they became the first artists ever to be kicked out of the American Music Awards almost immediately after winning an American Music Award.
The night began well enough for the band, who beat out groups like Imagine Dragons and Twentyone Pilots for the Favorite Alternative Rock Artist award. Linkin Park members Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, and Rob Bourdon were on hand to accept the honor, and during their acceptance speech, they of course took time to pay tribute to their late frontman, Chester Bennington:
"We want to dedicate this award to Chester, to his memory, to his talent" Favorite Artist – Alternative Rock goes to @linkinpark! ♥️ #AMAs pic.twitter.com/KB0vKXdTJ5

Unfortunately, the trio of Linkin Parkers were then immediately ejected from the show due to some sort of issue over their credentials. No, really: they won the award, got on stage to accept, walked off stage, tried to go back into the audience, and got bounced. Which is so ridiculous, you just have to laugh.

What I wanna know is… did security really have no idea who they were talking to… or did they know exactly who they were talking to???
