Marilyn Manson Refers to KISS as “Four Gay Dudes in Halloween Costumes”

NME recently sat down Marilyn Manson (video below) and showed him a buncha photos of celebrities and asked him to comment. While briefly displaying some of the ol’ Manson wit (asked what happened to some missing cocaine, he replies, “It fell into my face”), the video is mostly notable for the moment when the shock-rocker refers to his antecedents, KISS, as “four gay dudes in Halloween costumes.” This is disappointing for a number of reasons. For one thing, it’s 2017, stop using the word “gay” as a slam, asshole. For another thing, it’s 2017, if you can’t think of a better burn for KISS that that old chestnut, you shame your ancestors. Get it together, Marilyn.
