Video: Metallica’s “Sad But True” Played at Double Speed
For his latest act of YouTube tomfoolery, cinemetallic auteur and Decrepit Birth drummer Samus “66Samus” Paulicelli has decided to show the world what it would be like if Metallica were to play “Sad But True” twice as fast as they normally do.
It works pretty well, which isn’t especially surprising: messing up a good, solid riff like this one would be like messing up a grilled cheese sandwich. You can fuck with it all you want, but you kinda need to go out of your way to make it taste like shit.
