Rivers of Nihil are in the Studio

You guys, I can’t hold it in any longer: Rivers of Nihil are in the studio right now recording the follow-up to 2015’s Monarchy. Get excite!!

The band released the news to the public earlier this week via Facebook, posting a photo of drummer Jared Klein behind the kit and a geo tag of Atrium Audio, the same studio at which they recorded the last record. The dual engineering team of Carson Slovak and Grant McFarland are gonna crush it.

Having heard the pre-production demos of Rivers of Nihil album #3, I can confidently say they are going to bowl you over with this one. Nevermind the fact that I manage the dudes — I do it because I love ’em, not vice versa! — but this album is a huge, huge step forward for the band. It’s different, too… I’ll just leave it at that.

Brutal Panda Records reissued the band’s debut The Conscious Seed of Light on vinyl last year; there are still a few copies left, and you can pick one up here.
