Video: This Band Played a Gig INSIDE a Waffle House
Waffle House is home away from home for the touring musician on a budget, a standby that’s abundant through large swaths of the U.S. that can cheaply and reliably feed bands on the go at all hours (healthily… well, not so much). Plenty of touring musicians I know live on the stuff while they’re out on the road, with some even taking the concept to its logical conclusion by naming tours after the famous (or infamous) chain.
Now one band’s taken things even farther: Indianapolis metal band Archarus played a show inside a Waffle House while on tour in Arkansas. Because you may as well just kill two birds with one stone, right?
Someone live streamed the first eight minutes of Archarus’s Waffle House assault, which you can watch below. We’ve also posted Archarus’s recent split EP with Thorr-Axe, which sounds pretty decent. If this was a publicity stunt, it worked, eh?
