Trivium’s Matt Heafy Pens Foreword for Hellraisers: A Visual History of Heavy Metal Mayhem!
I’d like to thank each and every one of you that has already pre-ordered Hellraisers: A Visual History of Heavy Metal Mayhem, the new book I co-authored with Christopher Krovatin (a.k.a. “Emperor Rhombus“). While we’re still behind such genre-defining tomes as Bassists with Benefits and the romantic Meltdown series on the Amazon heavy metal book charts, even Corey Taylor can’t seem to overcome those classics, so c’est la vie.
If you HAVEN’T pre-ordered Hellraisers yet, hopefully this will incentive you to do so: the foreword for the book has been penned by none other than Trivium’s Matthew K. Heafy! While our editor will probably murder me for doing this, I’m gonna provide a brief sample for you below so you know we’ve got the goods:
“I have carried…”
What has Matt Heafy carried? Was it cumbersome? Does he still carry it today? There’s only way to find out: pre-order the goddamn book!
All joking aside, I think we did a nice job with Hellraisers. Our goal was to make it informative but fun, kinda like a college course where the professors are cool and give you “the real dirt” on the genre, and I believe we succeeded. But don’t take my word for it… here’s a nice endorsement from a qualified expert in the genre:
So what are you waiting for? Pre-order Hellraisers here!
