Watch: Napalm Death’s Barney Greenway Tries, Fails to Teach Metal Vocals to a British Politician
Britain’s Labour Party sure is having a metal year. First, there was the whole brouhaha with Leeds East’s Richard Burgon; now Ed Miliband, former Leader of the Labour Party as well as Leader of the Opposition, has hosted a BBC Radio 2 program on which he had Napalm Death’s Barney Greenway as a guest. In case their song titles didn’t tip you off, Napalm Death are highly progressive politically, so it actually makes sense that Miliband would be game to talk with Greenway.
In fact, Miliband went so far as to ask Greenway to teach him how to scream his lungs out.
As the video below demonstrates, it did not go so well:
