BTBAM 10th Anniversary Colors Tour Will Feature The Contortionist, Polyphia and Toothgrinder
Update, 12:13pm EDT: The tour has been officially announced! Get dates here.
Original Post:
Back in March the metalnets lost its shit when news got out that Between the Buried and Me were planning a 10th anniversary tour of their seminal album Colors for the fall.
Time to resume the shit-losing: Lambgoat just picked up on a leaked show flyer for a date in North Carolina in October that lists The Contortionist, Polyphia and Toothgrinder as the openers. The bill is a who’s who of modern progressive metal, and all of those bands are sure to please anyone that’s inclined to show up for a performance of Colors in full. In short: it’s gonna rule.
The October 21st date at the Neighborhood Theatre in Charlotte, NC presumably represents the bill for the whole tour, so hopefully we’ll see an announcement with the rest of the dates soon. Stay tuned.
Meanwhile, bassist Dan Briggs told us in a recent interview with The MetalSucks Podcast that the band is aiming to record their next album this summer. What a time to be a BTBAM fan!
