Eighteen Visions Release “Oath,” Their First New Song in Eleven Years; Listen Here
After more than two months of teases, the reunited Eighteen Visions have, at last, released a single from their new album, XVIII. “Oath” is actually far heavier than I’d predicted; it sounds like a more polished version of something off of Until the Ink Runs Out. Obviously whether or not that’s a good thing is in the ear of the listener… personally, I can’t help but wish this song had a chorus. I dunno, maybe it will grow on me. But after all the hype, I find it a little anticlimactic.
