Killswitch Engage to Stream Live Performance Entirely in Virtual Reality
Here’s some awesome news for the 3% of the population that owns a virtual reality headset: on April 17th, starting at 7pm CT, Killswitch Engage are going to be streaming their performance in Houston, TX at the House of Blues for free!
The entirety of their set will be completely VR-compatible, giving fans an unprecedented experience as they get front row and on-stage access to KSE like never before.
The live VR broadcast will be available globally (except in China) via the NextVR app. If you’ve got Google Daydream, Samsung Gear VR, or an Oculus Rift you’ll be able to experience the entirety of the performance directly from your computer or smartphone. Seems pretty nifty if you’ve got the tech to enjoy it!
This is all part of Live Nation’s multi-year concert series in conjunction with NextVR. Good on Live Nation for allowing metal acts to participate in this experience and not restricting it to the mainstream.
