Having already all but explicitly stated that they’re in the studio making a new album, Sleep have now released the following update via their official website:

Noah Landis, of course, is the keyboardist for Neurosis. The coordinates, meanwhile, are for a crosswalk right beside a Rite Aid in Oakland, CA, but I think it’s safe to assume that’s some kind of error on my or Google’s part and they’re actually in a studio someplace nearby. But who knows, maybe these dudes are baked enough that recording a new album in the middle of the street actually seemed like a good idea. I mean, they decided to release this update in morse code for some reason, so there’s no way they’re sober.
