Max Cavalera to Perform Nailbomb’s Entire Point Blank Album on Tour

If don’t remember the ’90s (due to youth, not substance abuse), you probably don’t remember Nailbomb. The industrial project was created by Max Cavalera and Fudge Tunnel’s Alex Newport. They only released one studio album, 1994’s Point Blank, but it was a very good album, which many fans remember fondly.

Those fans will be stoked — I think — to learn that Cavalera has now announced that he’ll be performing Point Blank in its entirety live on tour. The shitter lining is that he’s doing it with Soulfly, and Newport isn’t participating. That’s a bummer, although not an entirely surprising one in the modern era of overemphasis on branding.
