Papa Roach Respond to Paul Ryan Burn: “When We Feel Defeated We Listen to Paul Ryan”
After Trump’s healthcare legislation failed to even make it to the House floor yesterday in a stinging blow to Republicans, a Photoshopped version of a New York Times article ended up making the rounds in which Paul Ryan allegedly cranked Papa Roach’s “Last Resort” in his SUV after departing the White House in a huff. Hilarious, harmless, and no one took it seriously for more than a few seconds, the moment was ripe for viral gold:
Now our pal Brian Storm at Rock Feed has informed us that Papa Roach have fired back on Twitter:
When we feel defeated we listen to Paul Ryan. ????

Oft-shat upon bands having a sense of humor about themselves is nothing new these days — Nickelback have been especially good at taking all the shit flung their way in stride — but Papa Roach have taken things one step further: their fanbase is overwhelmingly based in Trump Country. Perhaps realizing this, the band followed up the above with an earnest appeal for suicide prevention, the song’s subject matter:
…but seriously Last Resort was written about suicide, if anyone is feeling defeated get help at @800273TALK
