Bask may very well be next in line for the Southern Metal Throne. On their Bandcamp page, theAsheville, NC quartet says they “want rhythm heard for miles, melodies remembered for weeks and an honesty and sincerity felt to your bones.” Well, mission accomplished, fellas: Ramble Beyond, Bask’s sophomore effort, is an aural delight, a massive, filmic, soulful record that offers a truly transportive experience.
