Oxbow are Oxback: Band Announces First New Album in a Decade

Oxbow hit fans with a double whammy of awesome this week when they announced that not only will they release their first new album in ten years, Thin Black Duke, on May 5… but that they’ll do it through Hydra Head. It will be that esteemed label’s first new release since 2013.

That makes Thin Black Duke an immediate must-buy, sound unheard. ‘Cause not only are you supporting an awesome band, but you’re supporting an awesome label, and hopefully making it possible for that label to put out more new releases in the future. I mean, wouldn’t it be killer if ‘Hydra Head’ turned out to be a 100% appropriate name?
