Dimmu Borgir Release More Photos from Studio Sessions for New Album

Not that it’s a secret that Dimmu Borgir are working on a new album — they recently revealed they’ve recorded with a choir — but in case you need further evidence, well… here ya go:

I recently revisited Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia and Death Cult Armageddon for the first time in awhile; I’d kinda forgotten how great those albums are, and suddenly the idea of a new Dimmu Borgir record was really exciting.

Then I remembered that Mustis isn’t in the band anymore.

Sigh.

Still, hopefully this will be good. I’m encouraged by the use of a real choir (as opposed to synths made to sound like a choir). We shall see…
