Finnair Flight 666 Just Landed Safely in HEL on Friday the 13th
Most metal flight of all time?
Finnair flight 666 has become something of a running joke amongst its crew for obvious reasons. “If there’s some passenger who is anxious about this 666, our cabin crew is always happy to help them,” said Pilot Juha-Pekka Keidasto to RT.
The flight runs daily from Copenhagen, Denmark to Helsinki, Finland, meaning the route would appear as follows on every passenger’s ticket: CPH -> HEL.
Upping the metal factor of today’s flight even more, it’s Friday the 13th.
And today’s aircraft, an Airbus A320, just so happened to be 13 years old.
Thankfully everyone arrived in HEL on time and safe. We only hope some enterprising metalhead had the forethought to buy a seat in the 13th row and yell “SLAYER!” during takeoff and landing.
