Dimmu Borgir are Dimmu Backir: Announce New DVD, Tease New Album

It’s been so long since Dimmu Borgir dimmu did anything that I almost forgot they existed. I did straight-up forget that they released Abrahadabra in 2010. Guess that record didn’t make much of an impression on me.

ANYWAY, it looks like 2017 is gonna be a big year for Borgir: they’ve announced they’ll release a live DVD, Forces of the Northern Night, in April, while also promising that “this is not the only gem that the year 2017 holds for Dimmu Borgir.” Presumably, that means the band plans on releasing a new album sometime in the next twelve months.
