Born of Osiris Guitarist Lee Patrick McKinney is Sorry for Drunk Twitter Rant Against The Acacia Strain
Yesterday, I read a bunch of tweets written by Born of Osiris guitarist Lee Patrick McKinney in which he tried to pick a fight with Acacia Strain frontman Vincent Bennett, and I figured, This has to be a joke or a publicity stunt surrounding a tour because it’s so ridiculous.
Then a member of The Acacia Strain e-mailed us to say that if it was a joke, they weren’t in on it, and that what they’d heard from friends touring with BoO, McKinney was hammered the night he wrote them.
Now, McKinney has responded via Twitter and apologized for his drunken social media conduct:

Our own Brian Storm tweeted back at him, to which McKinney good-naturedly admitted his folly:
You became a pro wrestler for a few hours last night. ???????? https://t.co/T2WaPHcyGu

So there you have it. Good on McKinney for owning up to his bad behavior, and let this be a reminder to you all that if you’re stiff on the sauce, it’s best to stay off the Internet.
