Stream Skeletonwitch’s New EP Apothic Gloom in Full Right Now!
Skeletonwitch’s new EP Apothic Gloom — their first with new vocalist Adam Clemens (Wolvhammer) — is only four tracks long. The band’s already released two of those — “Red Death, White Light” and “Well of Despair” — so if you’ve heard both then you probably already have a good idea of whether you’ll like the EP or not, and what your opinion is of the heir to Chance Garnette’s weed-smoking, beer-drinking, pussy-eating throne.
Nevertheless, Decibel has offered us all a final opportunity to judge Apothic Gloom for ourselves by hosting a full stream of the EP. I certainly agree with my pal Axl’s assessment that the band doesn’t seem to have lost anything musically; they sound great here, and Clemens does too. That said, I find it difficult to get excited about seeing the ‘Witch live now; Chance’s presence was such an important part of their performance! Sorry guys, if you’re reading this, I STILL LOVE YOU LOTS, it’s just how I feel. But I will certainly keep an open mind until I have the opportunity to see ’em play in person.
Anyhoo, check out the EP below. It comes out August 19 on Prosthetic and you can pre-order it now.
