Marilyn Manson Struggles with Snot, Ball Sweat

Marilyn Manson continues to entertain, albeit not the way he’s supposed to.

The shock rocker — former members of whose band have alleged that he’s got a substance abuse issue — has been, inarguably, a total mess for the entirety of his summer tour with Slipknot and Of Mice & Men (see: Exhibit A, Exhibit B, Exhibit C). And it doesn’t seem like he’s gonna get his act together anytime soon: The PRP reports that during last week’s tour stop in Bristow, VA — the same show where Manson rolled/fell off the stage — the singer struggled with a snot rocket before drying off his nuts in front of the crowd (to Manson’s credit, he didn’t take off his underwear).

This reminds me, more than a little, of the time Vince and I watched Scott Weiland struggle to take off his coat mid-performance. That’s obviously not a good thing. Regardless of your feelings regarding Manson’s music, the guy doesn’t deserve to die. It takes thousands of people to get this show up on its feet every night. Surely, some of them can stage an intervention, right?
