If you were worried about Riley McShane, the new vocalist for Allegaeon, don’t be: as demonstrated by the band’s new single, “Gray Matter Mechanics – Appassionata Ex Machinea,” the band hasn’t lost a step. You know you’re in for a treat almost right away, when the band incorporates elements of goddamn flamenco music into the song’s intro. Shit only gets better from there (and, yeah, the flamenco stuff comes back, too!).
