Lzzy Hale Speaks About Serving as One of Ghost’s Sisters of Sin
In October of 2015 (seems so long ago now, right?) Halestorm frontwoman Lzzy Hale had the honor of serving as one of Ghost’s sisters of sin. That meant that Hale got to dress up as a nun for a Ghost show and perform Communion duties on stage with the band. In an interview with South Carolina’s 98 Rock radio station, Hale had this to say about her experience:
One of our crew girls is dating one of their crew guys. So we had this day off and they just so happened to kind of cross paths. But we were just kind of go see the show. And then they asked both me and my friend, ‘Would you like to be our ‘sisters of sin’?’ So we had to dress up like nuns. They had the costumes and everything all ready, and they were, like, ‘Here you go.’ So we fed people Communion.
This isn’t the first time Ghost have shared the stage with a famous musician. Back in August of 2015, a nameless ghoul vaguely confirmed that Dave Grohl had indeed played Ghost material in a ghoul suit but stopped just short of confirming that it was on stage. At this point, however, we think it’s probably safe to say Grohl has played on stage with them (and every other band on planet Earth) at least once, but you never know with Ghost, and that’s part of the fun.
