Fallujah Release New Track “The Void Alone”
Fallujah’s forthcoming album Dreamless is EASILY one of our most anticipated albums of the year — this band’s been on the rise for some time, and it feels as if now is their moment to seize. It’s been building and building…
… and here we go! The band just dropped a new track called “The Void Alone.” It’s got clean vocals, which is a first for the band, but they’re not in the form you might expect: they come courtesy of guest vocalist Tori Letzler, who IMDB tell us is “a Composer and Vocalist for film, television, and video games who lives in Los Angeles, CA.” Interesting! Her performance here is fantastic — check her out on Soundcloud, too — and her vocals lend a special, ethereal feeling to the track.
But, more importantly, the song as a whole kicks fucking ass. It sounds like Fallujah, the Fallujah that’s been developing over the past couple of full-lengths and EP, the one we’ve grown to love and believe in, and it sounds fucking MONSTROUS and dazzlingly clear courtesy of recording engineer / producer Zack Ohren and mixing / mastering guru Mark Lewis.
Dreamless comes out April 29th via Fallujah’s new label Nuclear Blast; pre-order here. Catch the band on tour this spring with The Black Dahlia Murder and Disentomb; dates here.
