Babymetal Add More Dates to 2016 U.S. Tour
Is the Babymetal hype train slowing down? Traffic numbers on recent MetalSucks posts about the band suggest it might be, but that may just be a function of curious gawkers having already gotten their fix as opposed to the true fans (like us!) who anxiously await their every move. I have a feeling once the press cycle begins for their new album — set to be released on April 1st — things are gonna get pretty crazy. Babymetal attract fans from outside the world of metal as well as from within, and I’m sure we’ll be seeing a whole lot of media coverage and hysteria surrounding the band in no time.
Speaking of: Babymetal had previously announced some U.S. tour dates for the spring, and now they’ve announced a few more. Metal Insider shares the updated routing with us (new dates in bold) and points out that the addition of July dates could indicate that even more are on the way:
