Killswitch Engage to Play Five Intimate Shows in NYC
Were you bummed, as we were, that there was no NYC date on the itinerary for the tour Killswitch Engage announced yesterday? Well, fret not: it turns out they were just saving the best for last. The band has now announced not one, not two, but FIVE New York shows, at least two of which are in venues far smaller than they’d normally play. Making these gigs that much more exciting is the fact that the band will debut a different song from their new album, Incarnate, during each performance.
Here are the dates:
March 06 @ Gramercy Theatre (Manhattan)
March 07 @ Bowery Ballroom (Manhattan)
March 09 @ Saint Vitus (Brooklyn)
March 10 @ Marlin Room — Webster Hall (Manhattan)
March 11 @ Rough Trade (Brooklyn)
For my money, that show is Vitus is gonna be the one to attend — Vitus is awesome and Vitus is small and when big bands play there they have a tendency to really tear shit the fuck up. But I’m sure all of these shows will be fun.
Get tickets here using Blabbermouth‘s presale password, “KSE2016.” They go on sale to the general public Friday morning. Incarnate is out March 11.
Also — don’t forget to check out the interview Brian Storm recently conducted with Jesse Leach on our behalf! It’s rad.
