The Ghost Inside Update Fans From the Hospital
In November, metalcore band The Ghost Inside were in a truly horrific car crash, in which their bus hit an eighteen-wheeler head-on. The band’s driver was killed, as was the driver of the truck. All of the members survived, but they were severely injured.
This week, the band members have all been checking in from the hospital. Singer Jonathan Vigil posted the following to his Twitter:
Scars on my head, a fracture on my neck, a wound on my back, skin graft right elbow, and two broken ankles, I’m here pic.twitter.com/8F6tYrSJ1z

Guitarist Zach Johnson had his surgery on Monday, and posted this to his Twitter:
Surgery 8 today. Should be the last, and the last time with a shitty IV. Have a good day! pic.twitter.com/iVKwfNIclH

And earlier this week, drummer Andrew Tkaczyk posted this to his Instagram:
Jesus. I can’t even begin to imagine the ordeal these dudes have been through.
Anyway, while the guys have been doing better, they still have a long road ahead of them. Their Gofundme page is still open, so please give what you can. Epitaph Records is also giving all proceeds from the sale of the band’s material directly to them, so please buy some The Ghost Inside music as well.
We wish the guys speedy recovery and good health.
