Video of Lemmy’s Memorial Service Posted in Full

The powers that be organized a live stream of Lemmy’s funeral this past Saturday night, to the benefit of the thousands of mourners who couldn’t be at the Los Angeles service in person. Over 175,000 people tuned in simultaneously at one point, according to some reports.

Now the entire service has been posted online for anyone to watch from now until the end of time. Guest speakers included Motorhead drummer Mikkey Dee, Rob Halford, Lars Ulrich, Slash, Dave Grohl, Scott Ian and a number of Lemmy’s close professional and personal acquaintances. If you weren’t able to watch Saturday in real time but want a chance to say goodbye on your own, have a watch. Make sure you’ve got plenty of tissues handy… as expected, the service gets quite emotional at times.
