Here’s Megadeth’s “Hangar 18” on a Violin
The Deciblog posted a video of guitar-violin duo covering Megadeth’s “Hangar 18” today. You can view it below.
While string versions of metal songs are a dime a dozen these days — I feel like every metal band has a String Quartet Tribute album about them — this version is especially nice because of its interpretive sound. The duo make the song their own, messing with the rhythm and tone to make the song better suited to an acoustic duo performance.
Anyway, enjoy this dulcet tune concerning alien conspiracies. And hey, if you like it, “Hangar 18” isn’t the only Megadeth cover Doralice have done. They’ve put out an EP called Rusted Pieces, where they’ve covered five tracks from Rust in Piece. Check it out here.
