Beavis and Butt-Head always had a remarkable way of cutting through the bullshit with their music video commentary. In a weird way — and especially for such a bunch of dumb-witted, bumbling fartknockers — they had their finger completely on the pulse, especially when it came to metal.

Nearly 20 years later, Beavis and Butt-Head’s commentary on Danzig — who appeared FOUR times on the show — rings startlingly true. Mike Judge could never have predicted motherfuckin’ bricks and onion soup and The North Side Kings and hundreds of memes in Impact font, but he — through his characters — seemingly already knew how completely ridiculous, via Beavis — AND COOL, via Butt-Head — the man would turn out to be.
