Track and Music Video Premiere: Pomegranate Tiger, “Cyclic”

We’ve been following Pomegranate Tiger since 2013, when we featured the one-man instrumental metal act in an Unsigned and Unholy column. If you listened to Entities when that album came out, surely you saw potential: a budding instru-metal artist with a lot of cool ideas, but also a bit too much reliance on his influences, as is so common for new artists.

Nearly three years later with Boundless, which comes out on December 11th, you’ll find that Mr. Tiger has developed into quite the unique artiste: gone are the tropes of so many instru-metal bands of years past, replaced with a sound that’s specifically and defiantly his own.
