Suicide Silence to Release Four Different Versions of Their Song “Sacred Words”
Do you love Suicide Silence? Do you love their song “Sacred Words,” from last year’s You Can’t Stop Me? Do you really, really, REALLY love their song “Sacred Words”?
Well, then, the band has a treat for you: a digital-only EP called Sacred Words, which features six songs, four of which are versions of — you guessed it! — “Sacred Words.” There’s the original studio version, a live version from the band’s RockPart Festival performance in Hungary this past August, an instrumental version, and a “We Are Strong Remix.” I have no idea what makes the remix so strong, or who is responsible for the remix’s extra strength. I just hope the song hasn’t been juicing.
The other two tracks on the EP, if you’re curious, are live recordings of “Inherit the Crown” and “Cease to Exist,” taken from the same concert and the live version of “Sacred Words.”
The EP will be out October 23 on Nuclear Blast. If you’ve never heard “Sacred Words” before and want to decide if you really need four versions of it or not, you can listen below.
