Here Are James Hetfield and M. Shadows Pretending to Be Video Game Zombies

One of the first rules of acting is, You can’t worry about looking stupid. Because you will — it doesn’t matter if you’re a party clown or a classically-trained Shakespearean actor playing Hamlet, at some point you’re gonna look like a jackass.

As such, good on James Hetfield and M. Shadows, who auditioned to be celebrity zombies in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. The metal frontmen join a slew of other celebrities in clawing at the living and moaning deep in their throats. And yeah, they look ridiculous, but apparently it’s all to raise awareness for a good cause — at Omaze, you can enter to become a zombie in Black Ops 3 for a small fee, and every $1,000 raised will provide one new job for a veteran.
