Zombi are a Bunch of “Mission Creeps”
By now I hope we all know how I feel about groovy, electro-rock duo Zombi: they rule.
But in case you’re just stumbling upon Zombi for the first time today, let me recap: their music has been compared to that of a horror film soundtrack with all its synths and eerie noises and sound effects, but it also grooves and pulsates and rocks. It’s danceable, but it’s somehow also headbangable. And yeah, it’s definitely got that horror soundtrack vibe.
Here’s a new Zombi song called “Mission Creep” via Stereogum. What made-up slasher scene inside your brain could it serves as a soundtrack for? Don’t listen to me… use your imagination. Listen to another new song called “Pillars of the Dawn” here.
