Gene Simmons’ Home Raided by LAPD Crimes Against Children Task Force, But He’s Not a Suspect
According to Metal Hammer, the LAPD’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force has raided the home of Kiss frontman Gene Simmons, but they insist that no one in the Simmons family is a suspect.
LAPD spokesman Lt. John Jenal told CNN the following:
“No members of the Simmons family are suspects in the case and were extremely cooperative.”
According to a spokesman for Simmons, the police are investigating a “crime that may have occurred on their property last year while Simmons was away on tour with Kiss.”
The statement went on to say:
“Neither Mr Simmons nor any member of his family is a person of interest in the investigation and they are cooperating fully with the investigation.”
Simmons’ wife Shannon Tweed tweeted the following:
Thanks for your support. We couldn't be more horrified that someone used our residence for such heinous crimes. Law enforcement is on it.

Obviously, this is really startling, especially given that Simmons and his family are somehow not involved with a crime against children that happened in their own home. But something that was brought up in the accusations made against Jared from Subway — who was found guilty of doing some really deplorable shit, which is in no way what the Simmons’ appear to have done — is that people sometimes send child porn via other Internet users’ accounts. That might have been what happened here, but we don’t know.
We’ll let you know if we hear anything else.
