Watch Rammstein Slay “Rammlied” At Madison Square Garden from the Upcoming In Amerika DVD
It’s official: Rammstein’s new DVD, In Amerika, drops September 25th, and it’s going to be pretty elaborate. The DVD contains a documentary called Rammstein In Amerika about the band’s history, a making-of movie about their last album, Liebe is für alle da, and a live concert film. And while it won’t be footage of the band’s infamous 2001 Hammerstein Ballroom footage, as posited by our boys over in Metal Injection, it’ll be just as great: the entirety of the band’s recent show at NYC’s Madison Square Garden.
Below is the first video released from the DVD, a live performance of “Rammlied,” and… holy fuck, man. You forget how big a Rammstein show is sometimes — you sort of assume their music just comes out of a barbed-wire womb of sorts — and then you see the command this group of androgynous leather-clad Germans has on a Madison Square Garden audience and it’s just mind-blowing.
Watch the video below, which will remind you that Till Lindemann is without a doubt the scariest goddamn man on Earth. You can pre-order In Amerika here.
