Motorhead Announce Summer U.S. Tour! Lemmy Lives!

I feel like we say this every time one of metal’s elder statesmen announces a tour, but for really real this time: if you’ve never seen Motorhead live — or even if you have — GO SEE MOTORHEAD ON THEIR U.S. TOUR (and one Canadian show) THIS SUMMER! Despite the recent improvement of Lemmy’s condition — he’s well enough to do this tour, so that’s a good sign, and there haven’t been any negative reports from their current gigs in Europe — you just never know. The dude is not in fantastic health, as he himself wouldn’t deny. He’s holding a cigarette in the above promo shot, for chrissakes!

All depressing grimness aside: Motorhead are touring! YES! And as already announced, they’ve got a new album, Bad Magic, coming out on August 28th. Listen to the new track “Thunder & Lightning” right here. So let’s all just be grateful we have these opportunities to enjoy Motorhead while we can, shall we?
