“Mulholland Drive”: New Failure Jam Is Awesome!
Like nearly everyone on earth, you probably didn’t notice Failure in the ’90s. You maybe first started seeing the name of their frontman, producer Ken Andrews, in the credits of well-funded albums in the ’00s. And it’s possible that you stumbled upon his rad little solo albums, but less likely than even your awareness of Failure. Maybe their name reached you via recommendations from metal dudes in Tool and Cave In, but you probably haven’t met any evangelical homers like those repping Jellyfish, Faith No More, and Refused. But you know they’re loved by metal guys, like all non-metal discussed here.
And here we are with a second chance to experience Failure via their first album since pagers, The Heart Is A Monster. You can tell Andrews and crew are serious because Monster has 18 fucking songs. Here’s one of them.
Failure’s The Heart Is A Monster is out June 30 via InGrooves. Pre-order here. Another song here.
