Slayer Announce Seven Pound, $180 Repentless Special Edition
Ever wish you had a physical Slayer eagle that was sufficiently heavy for the use of beating someone to death? Who hasn’t, right?
Well, great news: Slayer are going to release such a hefty edition of their new album, Repentless*. Measuring 5″ X 17″ X 3″ and weighing a whopping seven pounds, you might even say that this is the heaviest special edition of an album ever made, LOL! Here are photos:
Unfortunately, we still don’t know what, besides the CD itself, will be included with this newborn-sized version of the record, although the press releases promises that “exclusive bonus content [will] be detailed soon.” But if you have incredible faith in Slayer that they are going to make this thing worth $180, you can pre-order it here. There’s “only” going to be 3,000 made, although that really sounds like a lot to me. Unless they end up including a lock of Kerry King’s hair, from back when he had hair. Then it might be worth it.
