Ozzy Donates $10K to Student Percussionists Who Performed “Crazy Train”
We give Ozzy Osbourne a lot of shit around the MetalSucks Mansion, but that’s only because he gives us so much ammo (and because his wife acts like the female Donald Trump). So it’s important that we also acknowledge when the dude does something great.
Recently, the Louisville Leopard Percussionists, an ensemble of kids from Louisville, KY, performed Ozzy’s classic tune “Crazy Train” and the video went viral.
According to the Courrier-Journal, Ozzy was so tickled by this performances that he went ahead and sent these kids $10,000 to further their musical education.

You can tear down Ozzy and claim that money should’ve gone to bands who used to pay to be on Ozzfest or whatever, but fuck that, sending a bunch of kids ten grand because you liked their cover of your song is a cool move. Kudos to the Prince of Darkness.
