Behemoth Get Into The Beer Game With Sacrum
Man, Behemoth are on a roll these days. They put out last year’s most important album, their frontman has opened a barbershop and has a bar in the works, and now The PRP reports that there will be an official band-sponsored beer.
According to the video below from the band’s Facebook, the beer is called Sacrum, and will be a Belgian IPA. They’re releasing it in November via the brewer Perun.
Personally, I think this is a solid idea, though I’m slightly wary of the beer type. Polish beers are fucking delicious — Zywiec and Tychy specifically — but they’re generally yellow lagers, and it seems like Nergal and Co. might be aiming for the hipster market a bit.
Sacrum is out 11/05 this year. When it hits the US will have to be seen.
