Listen to Previews of New Music from Between the Buried and Me and Soilwork
Y’know, it occurs to me that in the days before the internet and social networks, bands didn’t release a lot of short teases of new music that they were currently in the midst of writing and/or recording. I’m not even really sure how they would have gone about doing so if they wanted to. They’d probably have to invite MTV into the studio/rehearsal space or something.
I don’t really have a point. I am just, once again, grateful that we live in THE FUTURE, because these teases hurt so good!
We have two of ’em this morning: first, one from BTBAM (who, incidentally, just formally announced a tour with The Atlas Moth), which features Tommy Rogers laying down some vocals. Which are apparently done! Which means the album is close to completion (vocals are generally the last thing to get recorded, in case ya didn’t know)! Which means we’re probably getting a new BTBAM album this year!!!
We also have this lil’ tease from Soilwork. This one is more focused on some of the computer programs the band is utilizing, but you do get to hear a pretty sweet-sounding new riff. Check it out below. Hopefully this bad mama jama makes it out in 2015, too.
