What’s a Seven-Letter Word for “F*CKING METAL!!!”?

The New York Times‘ daily crossword puzzles are famous, and famously difficult (especially as each week progresses — every day’s puzzle is harder than the one prior). But any old dummy MetalSucks reader (save for the Thy Art is Murder fans) would have been able to get this one in a heartbeat:

That’s certainly unexpected. You’d think if a metal band ever ended up in The New York Times crossword puzzle, it’d be Metallica or Black Sabbath or some other band which has become acceptable to polite society.

And as if that isn’t crazy enough, it looks Down made an appearance in the very same puzzle! CRAZY!!! The peeps at The New York Times must me massive Anselmo fans.
