Video: Fifteen-Year-Old Indonesian Girl Slays Lamb of God’s “Hourglass” on the Guitar
On behalf of everyone here at MetalSucks, I hereby nominate Meliani Siti Sumartini to be the new lead guitarist for Megadeth. She may not be quite at Marty Friedman’s skill level yet, but a) she’s awesome, b) she’s probably affordable, and c) her presence might deter Dave Mustaine from saying such racist, misogynistic, generally ignorant shit all the time.
Here’s a video of Ms. Sumartini performing Lamb of God’s “Hourglass” (it would appear she’s also an Avenged Sevenfold fan), courtesy of Metal Injection. The young girl can take comfort knowing that even if she doesn’t get the Megadeth gig, she can always be President.
