System of a Down Drummer is Teasing a New Album… Maybe??
When System of a Down played at The Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles in 2013, drummer John Dolmayan famously remarked to the audience, “Next time we come back here, we’ll have a new fucking album!”
Now we’re about to find out whether the band already had plans for a new album at the time Dolmayan made that statement or he was just speaking out of his ass: SoaD are playing the “Almost Acoustic Christmas” in L.A. next month. They’ve also got a gig lined up in Moscow (!) for April 2015.
Perhaps recalling his statement, Dolmayan has taken to Twitter to tease fans about a possible new album. Could it be? Finally? Or is it just gonna be another tour? Here’s what we’ve gotten so far:
