Watch Some Kid’s Dad Do a Vocal Cover of Slipknot’s “Psychosocial”
This video was produced back in 2009, but it’s only just come to my attention today, thanks to one of those semi-random, totally miraculous “recommended viewing” sidebars on YouTube. It’s hilarious because it’s awful, it’s hilarious because it’s mostly out of focus, it’s hilarious because he totally misses his cue at the beginning, it’s hilarious because he struggles with the tongue-twisting lyric “Packaging subversion/Pseudo sacrosanct perversion,” and it’s hilarious because of the description beneath video:
“Here my dad gives his best effort at a vocal cover for Psychosocial by Slipknot!”
Holy fuck, this guy is someone’s dad?!?!?! He looks like he’s about nineteen years old! Also… by the time you have children, shouldn’t your days of making horrifically embarrassing vocal covers be long over?
Somewhere, Vince is smirking: “Of course he’s a Yankees fan.”
