The Acacia Strain’s Coma Witch is a “Cauterizer”

As rumored, The Acacia Strain will release a new album, Coma Witch, on October 14 via (I still can’t believe they’re signed to) Rise Records. Although the title would indicate that it’s a concept album about the life of Ann Coulter — the world’s only coma sufferer who is still able to walk and talk — the band has yet to confirm this to be the case.

It pains me to say this, but having listened twice now… well… let’s just say that I don’t think it’s The Acacia Strain’s finest work. It’s by no means bad — it just doesn’t have that signature TAS moment that makes you wanna use someone’s neck for a trampoline, y’know?
