Juggalos Charged with Attempted Murder of Insane Clown Posse-Hating Roomate
Maybe I’m just being a drama queen, but something tells me that this is NOT gonna help Juggalos’ image any.
According to The Guardian (by way of Lambgoat), Maryland’s Paul Martin Hurst, 33 (above left), and Cary Lee Edwards, 35 (above right), have been arrested and “charged with attempted murder and assault for beating their housemate, trying to carve a tattoo from his arm and setting the arm in question on fire… because he had disrespected Insane Clown Posse and ‘had to pay the consequences’.” It’s not presently clear how the victim, 31-year-old Zachary Swanson, disrespected ICP, but “Edwards did not believe that Swanson earned” the tattoo they were trying to remove. So it sounds like Swanson was identified as a “Juffahoe” — basically, a poser trying to pass as a Juggalo.
Regardless of the circumstances, Swanson suffered “suffered fractures to his nasal area and face, 11 broken ribs, a lacerated liver and bleeding in his brain” as a result of the attack. And as if that wasn’t bad enough, the arm from which they tried to remove the tattoo had to be amputated below the elbow.
Is it too much to hope that ICP release a statement condemning these two sweethearts for their actions, so that other fans don’t follow their lead? Juggalos always wanna tell you how non-judgmental they are, but that clearly wasn’t the case here. The entire Juggalo community should be doing everything in their power to distance themselves from these nitwits. I know that’s a funny-sounding sentence, but I’m as a serious as an amputated arm.
