Exclusive Track Premiere: Jakob Advise You to “Blind Them with Science”

It’s Friday! The weekend is almost here! Time to kick back, relax, and actually enjoy life! And what better way to do that than with the soothing sounds of New Zealand post-rock trio Jakob?

And we do mean “soothing”: if you’re looking to mosh, you best look elsewhere. Jakob’s music is often heavy and always impassioned, but it’s also achingly gorgeous — think Russian Circles at their most melodic or This Will Destroy You at their beefiest and you’ll have some idea of what we’re talking about. Like the music made by those bands, Jakob’s work may best be describe as “cinematic,” the score to an incredible, mind-expanding film that exists only in your imagination.

MetalSucks is proud to present “Blind Them with Science,” the first track to be released from Jakob’s forthcoming album, Sines. It has nothing to do with the Thomas Dolby 80s dance classic, but we’re positive you’ll love it nonetheless!
