If You’re in Search of Something Catchy, Check out In Search of Sun’s “The World is Yours”

I’d never heard of the UK’s In Search of Sun (formerly known as Driven — never heard of them, either) before someone sent in their new lyric video for the song “The World is Yours” (cue Scarface jokes)… but I’ll be keeping a close on eye on them from now on. It took exactly fifteen seconds for me to fall madly in love with this song, and I doubt it will take you much longer. DAT RIFF! So sweeping! So cinematic! So impossible to get out of your head once you’ve heard it! In Search of Sun instantly join the “Melodic Metal Done Right” list alongside Periphery, The Safety Fire, and Vanisher.

In fact, only thing I don’t like about this is that there isn’t more of it. But there should be soon — the band’s Facebook page promises that their “DEBUT ALBUM DROPS IN SUMMER 2014!”, although it doesn’t offer any additional info. Still! Summer 2014! That’s, like, right now!!!
